Conference Objectives

1. To enhance the visibility of our university and our college
After the merger of three universities, our College of Foreign Languages has moved towards a new direction. We hope that organizing this international conference helps enhance the visibility of our merged university and our College of Foreign Languages at home and abroad.

2. To provide a shortcut to connect the world
In the era of globalization and information technology, it is important to learn international scholars’ research interests and results. An international conference helps us know about international scholars’ research. It is a shortcut for us to connect the world.    

3. To improve our teaching faculty’s teaching quality and academic research output
Our international conference has invited Canadian, American and Japanese professors to be our keynote speakers. We hope that this conference provides a platform for international scholars and local university teachers to exchange their research ideas and share their research results. We further hope that this conference helps our teaching faculty to upgrade their research standard, improve their teaching quality and increase their academic research output.
